WAIVER: I understand that this race is a potentially hazardous activity. I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by the decisions of race officials relative to my ability to safely complete the event. I assume all risks associated with other participants and visitors while attending this event, the effects of the weather – including heat, cold, water and humidity – possible traffic problems, and problems arising from the conditions of trails and roadways, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of DHS Booster Club accepting my entry, I and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the State of Oregon, the City of Dallas, Polk County, the DHS Booster Club, and all other sponsors/ representatives and successors, from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all the forgoing to use and photographs or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, and I understand that costs have been incurred to a non-profit, weather or not I participate; my entry fee is non-refundable.
